Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Kali Parea, operated by Smiling Bowtie (“we,” “us”). By using Kali Parea, you agree to them.

The service

Kali Parea helps you invite a friend to meet and book a time on your own calendar. Kali Parea is in active development (beta); features may change, and occasional issues are expected.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use Kali Parea.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.

Your responsibilities

  • The messages you send are yours. Invites go out from your own phone, in your own words, to people you choose. You’re responsible for who you contact and for having a genuine reason to reach them. Don’t use Kali Parea to spam, harass, or message people who don’t want to hear from you.
  • Use Kali Parea only for lawful, personal scheduling with people you know.
  • Don’t misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.

Calendar access

By connecting Google Calendar, you authorize Kali Parea to read your free/busy and to create and manage the events it books for you (and block related travel time) when a friend confirms. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

Availability and “as is”

Kali Parea is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that suggested times, travel estimates, or bookings will always be accurate or error-free. Always confirm important plans.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smiling Bowtie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed meetings, scheduling errors, or lost data, arising from your use of Kali Parea.

Termination

You can stop using Kali Parea and disconnect its access at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or to protect the service and its users.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
